BROAD BOWL-O-THON IS BACK!
The bowls have been thrown & now it’s time to give them a little glow-up! Join us for the second half of our annual Bowl-O-Thon and help us trim the bowls we threw together the previous Friday for the Austin Empty Bowl Project.
We’ll spend the day trimming, refining, and giving all those freshly thrown bowls their final shape before they head off to be glazed and fired. We’ll provide the tools, snacks, drinks, and good vibes - you just show up ready to get your hands back in the clay.
This event is open to anyone with enough wheel experience to confidently trim bowls on their own. You do NOT need to have helped throw the Bowl-o-Thon bowls to help us trim. Come for an hour or stay for the whole thing - every bowl trimmed brings us one step closer to filling the tables at Austin Empty Bowl <3
And, of course, there will be snacks and drinks to keep us fueled while we make pottery for a great cause. 🫶
